Water tower at Silmiougou
Closing date: 03 December 2027
Story
Silmiougou, on the outskirts of Burkina Faso's capital, had a Myra's Well in 2016 (shown in the first picture above). In 2020, Pastor Fidele, who oversees that well told us of plans for a new development. As part of this new development, the government built a road where this well was situated, giving us funds to drill a new well with a 5000 litre water tower.
God had bigger plans! The new well provided 32,000 litres of water per hour! A bigger tank is needed. The biggest tank available is a metal 10,000 litre tank, as in the second picture above. Having already received £1000 towards the extra cost, we are going ahead in faith that God will provide the rest of the funds -just over £4000. He has never failed us yet!
The third picture above is Fidele and his wife.
Any excess over the £4000 target will be used for another well project.
