Story

I am dusting off the headband and lacing the trainers to run the Bath Half marathon on 15th October this year. I am aiming to raise money for Acorn Pregnancy Counselling, a Worthing based charity who do amazing work helping women and their partners cope with unexpected pregnancy, pregnancy loss or abortion. 

Acorn provided critical support to us after we lost our baby to miscarriage in February 2017. There is no funeral or remembrance service after miscarriage. Instead, you grieve the loss in horrible isolation. I cannot underestimate the importance of what Acorn did for my wife and I. This will be my first half marathon and I hope it will help me to honour and remember the life that never got a chance, and raise money to help Acorn be there for those in need.
