Help Us Build A New Yurt Cafe

Story

Since 2016, the Yurt Café has become a cherished community space in Limehouse. More than a café, it is a place where people connect, friendships grow, creativity flourishes, and support is found. It is a social enterprise funding our work in the community and operates under the charity, The Royal Foundation of St. Katharine.

Today, the Yurt faces an urgent challenge. After nearly ten years of use, the structure is deteriorating and must be replaced.

Without a new Yurt, our community risks losing a vital hub that helps combat loneliness, supports mental health, and provides an affordable, welcoming space for people from all backgrounds to come together, in one of the poorest parts of England.

We need to raise £80,000 by September to build a new, sustainable Yurt that will serve our community for years to come.
