School Council's fundraising event for Whitechapel Mission

Story
We are the school council of Lansbury Lawrence Primary School.
We decided we wanted to improve our local community. Many issues were discussed but what we found most important was helping the people in need. We then researched food banks and charities in Tower Hamlets and found The Whitechapel Mission.
We were impressed with their purpose of everyone deserves a chance regardless of their background race or religion and how they are helping the homless and the poor.
For our fundraising event, we have decided to host a fun event at school that includes, Face painting, Cake sales and Teacher Vs Parent footbal match.
Our event has also inspired one of our school governers, Geoff, to run The Whitechapel Mission's 10k race to help with our fundraising! Go Geoff Go!
