Story
Hope in Christ School has been providing primary education in the Chipata Shanty Compound, Lusaka, Zambia since 2008; currently with places for up to 160 children to Grade 7, which since 2015 has been funded by generous gifts from supporters of “Partners Across the Miles.”
Secondary & further education in Zambia is fee based. It costs around £200 / $260 per year to fund each child in secondary school which covers their education, resources & uniforms. Since 2018 children from Hope in Christ have been sponsored with places in secondary school; in 2022 amazingly, 50 were funded with children & young people progressing to secondary schools, colleges of further education and university.
“Education is Life” – in January 2023 when the new school year starts in Zambia and fees are due can you help educate these children, living in one of the poorest areas of the world who would otherwise have little or no hope of progression.
