Story

The London Diocese Lent Appeal is targeting youth violence this year. Sadly it is prevalent across the city. It typically involves young people hurting peers who are unrelated to them and who they may or may not know well. Youth violence can include fighting, bullying, threats with weapons, and gang-related violence. A young person can be involved with as a victim, offender, or witness. Simple fear often drives someone to carry a weapon.

Our contributions will go to charities directly involved in working with young people where the risks are greatest.
