Story

The Worshipful Company of Fan Makers has a long founded  affiliation with Lansbury Lawrence School. As a co-opted School Governor, I have been inspired by the School Coucil to help them raise funds for the Whitechapel Mission by taking part in the ASICS 10k run on 10th July.

Whitechapel Mission has been dedicated since 1876 to providing a lifeline to the poor and homeless of London, who struggle each day against hunger, poverty and exclusion. Our goal is to help people to help themselves, giving them the confidence they need to become independent, through practical support and advice and by teaching them the life skills they need to succeed. We believe everyone deserves chance, regardless of their background, race or religion.
