Ethiopia Emergency Food Relief

Story

The war in Ethiopia has caused a severe humanitarian crisis affecting many families, including the communities we have worked with. Ethiopia is also facing its worst drought in 50 years.

We are providing food parcels for the most vulnerable households in the communities we know. They include the old, the physically weak, people with disabilities or chronic health problems, people on very low incomes, and those who have lost family in the war.

A food parcel consists of 21 kg wheat flour, 2 kg beans, and 1.5L fortified food oil.

They cost £25 and will last for a month. The more donations we receive the more food parcels we can provide for our partner communities, who are in desperate need. Any help you give will be gratefully received.
