Story
On Friday 13th March the G4S SSUK North team will be attempting to pull Coldplay's old tour bus 500m across the Piccadilly car park in Manchester, all to raise funds for the fantastic homeless charity https://embassybus.org/.
ITV news will be with us for the 6pm news and there’s a team there getting footage for a BBC2 program too.
Embassy's vision is to help homeless people in Greater Manchester make a new start in life. Launched in 2019, Embassy uses a re-purposed tour bus to provide emergency shelter and support to vulnerable adults in Greater Manchester.
Within the 12-berth bus they provide time, space and connections to help those who find themselves homeless along a process of restoration and into permanent housing. Embassy's programme takes men from the street, employs them through corporate partners and with their resettlement worker they can find and sustain permanent accommodation with no need for council housing or benefits.
