Story
Over the last few days there has been major flooding and landslides in Kathmandu and other areas of Nepal. Many have lost their lives as they have had their houses swept away in landslides and raging rivers.
Our tailoring teacher Sushila lost her life when her house collapsed after a landslide. she had spent the last 6 months training women from rural areas. The women graduated in September and the picture shows everyone receiving awards.(she is wearing white)
Donations are requested for food, blankets, shelter to support those in need, and for funds to help Sushila's family rebuild their house and their lives.
The funds will be sent to Christians Abroad who will then forward to the Himayan foundation to ensure all moneis go to the right place.
If you are a UK taxpayer, please confirm that you would like to reclaim Gift Aid on your donation. This will add 25p to every £1 you give. Thank you for your support.
