Brian Stops

Story

Brian was much loved and will always be remembered. 

Sadly, Brian passed away on 27th February 2021 aged 89 years.

Brian had an immense presence in our church, the local community and within the wider URC networks.  He accepted many responsibilities, helped raise funds to modernise our little church, led services in diverse places and was a committed Chairman of Cumnor Parish Council. 

Brian was a dapper dresser and always looked smart, he had a good sense of humour, could be complex and difficult on issues but also wonderfully charming.

Due to current government restrictions a private service will take place on Thursday 18th March.

However, donations in memory of Brian will be gratefully received and shared between Commitment for Life and The Epiphany Fund of Cumnor URC - further details at http://www.cumnorurc.org.uk/school.php.
