We're raising money to send 125cc motorbikes to the Democratic Republic of Congo!

Wonderful news to end 2025… we have heard from both Dioceses and between them they bought ELEVEN motorbikes. Thanks to your generosity we sent them £3000 each in 2025. We are now gearing up for 2026… thanks for your support, do join us on a ride-out or event next year?
🌍 A LITTLE BACKGROUND 🏍
Bishop Mark visited DRC in May 2024 and, being a keen biker, was delighted to see hundreds of motorbikes around the Cathedral. 125cc motorbikes provide essential transport for clergy, to help them deliver pastoral and ministerial care, but will also be used to support and enable primary healthcare as they transport supplies as well as nurses and midwives across the region.
We're delighted to be partnering with the Congo Church Association who ensure the funds we raise make their way to our partners in DRC - we can't wait to see more bikes on the ground!
Bishop Mark is the Bishop of Chester. The Diocese of Chester partners the Congolese Dioceses of Aru and Boga.
