Working with their trusted partner in Lebanon, Najdeh, Christian Aid are already lending vital support to overwhelmed emergency services who are treating the injured, as well as offering food, mattresses, blankets and other essentials to people who’ve lost everything. Najdeh is also managing three UN schools that have been converted into shelters for people seeking refuge.
Disaster Emergency Committee (DEC)
You can help people affected by the current Middle East crisis by making a donation and helping to raise money for the DEC appeal. This will allow DEC charities and their local partners to scale up their response and reach more people.

- £50 could provide emergency food, for five families for one week
- £100 could provide emergency shelter for five families
Embrace the Middle East
Embrace the Middle East have been supporting Christian partners in the Middle East for 170 years. They currently support projects throughout the region as they work to transform lives and restore the dignity of the most excluded and marginalised communities. Their goal is to contribute to a culture of human flourishing in a troubled region.
Their partners across Lebanon are working hard to support many displaced families. The emergency supplies they have been distributing – such as food, winter essentials, fuel and hygiene kits – are a lifeline for many. Now, with many more families cut off from their homes and belongings, their partners are scaling up their support to reach more people.
