How long will it take for Gift Aid to be received into my account?
HMRC estimate that Gift Aid is under claimed by around £600 million every year. Additionally, Gift Aid can sometime takes months to be received by charities from HMRC. Stewardship's Instant Gift Aid is unique to our Giving Account. We want the causes you support to receive these funds faster. For payments of less than £25k, we ‘underwrite’ the value of the Gift Aid claims that we expect to receive at a later date from HMRC, so that we can add it to your giving straight away. Instant Gift Aid is only applicable for single payments up to £24,999. For larger payments (£25k and above), it will take longer to be received from HMRC which means that it will only be added to your Stewardship Account balance upon receipt.
