Giving Account Fees
What do we do with your fee?
Just like the churches, charities and full-time Christian workers we support, Stewardship is a not-for-profit too.
So when the administrative costs of services are covered, any surplus is reinvested into supporting charitable activities such as training, events and resources.
- No account opening fee
- No monthly subscription fee
- Competitive fee on money paid in
Where we incur additional costs, perhaps for processing unusual or exceptional transactions, we may deduct a further one-off charge to pay for this, but we will always discuss this with you before making any deduction from your Giving Account balance.
|Top-ups including Gift Aid||3.5%|
|*Top-ups without Gift Aid||3%|
*Top-ups without Gift Aid include those from churches, charities and companies
Please note: Top-ups by cheque or from agencies (such as CAF, Charitable Giving and Charities trust) are subject to a minimum £5 fee to cover additional administrative costs.
Giving Account Fee Examples with Gift Aid
With a Stewardship Giving Account for Individuals there is a competitive 3.5% fee taken on account top ups. Gift Aid is instantly claimed on giving £25,000 and under, adding 25p to every £1 given without waiting for HMRC.
|Gift Amount||Gift Aid||Fee (3.5%)||Charity Receives|
If you would like to request a donation overseas, an additional deduction of 1% will apply. This fee is applied at the point of payment to the partner.
If an overseas charity is not yet registered with Stewardship or Stewardship America, the following one-off set-up fee will also be deducted. We’ll validate the charity to ensure that they are eligible to receive funds.
