Why International Aid?
We choose to stand alongside our global neighbours, amplifying their voices.
Not only can we see the need more visibly through TV and media, but our actions have a direct impact on people living in poverty through our decisions that impact on the climate. The recent combined influence of climate change and Covid-19 has broadened the inequality gap, and those living in extreme poverty need support now more than ever. Vital funds can make a significant difference to international efforts in persecution, poverty relief and human rights, providing crucial resources needed to address the imbalance between nations.
Our desire is not that others might be relieved while you are hard pressed, but that there might be equality.
2 Corinthians 8:13
Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.
Matthew 25:40
This is what the Lord says: do what is just and right. Rescue from the hand of the oppressor the one who has been robbed. Do no wrong or violence to the foreigner, the fatherless or the widow
Jeremiah 22:3

COVID:19 International Response

Let my heart be broken with the things that break God's heart.
Bob Pierce, World Vision Founder
To belong to Jesus is to embrace the nations with Him.
John Piper
The crazy part about God's heart is that He doesn't just ask us to give; He desires that we love those in need as much as we love ourselves.
