It’s official – Kingdom Bank is now part of the Stewardship family

Stewardship are delighted to announce the completion of the purchase of Kingdom Bank, in partnership with a small group of Christian philanthropists.

Kingdom Bank, which has been serving churches across the UK for over 60 years, has been bought by this group of Christian investors with the aim of sparking a significant expansion of the Bank’s activities.

Whilst most of what we do is currently unaffected we have rapidly made changes to how we operate to ensure that we are being good stewards, that we aid the national effort to bring this pandemic under control, and that we prioritise getting financial and practical support to where it is most needed.


Cyclone Idai Appeal - how you can help...

16 March 2019.I the village of Inhamizua the secondary school was used as an emergency shelter for local residents. Approximately 300 people had sought shelter in the school, but several of the school buildings were damaged during the Cyclone Idai as it made landfall along the Central Coast of Mozambique, generating winds of over 200kph and torrential rain. The storm victims recounted stories of losing everything and not knowing what was next.  (General imagery of school, flooded land and woman standing holding child).

Cyclone Idai has swept through Mozambique, Malawi and Zimbabwe, leaving behind a trail of destruction, killing hundreds of people and affecting an estimated 2.6 million people.

Houses, roads and bridges have been ripped apart and agricultural land is completely submerged. More than 1000 people are confirmed dead and 400,000 have lost their homes.

If you have American friends, like me, you’ll no doubt have been hearing about their Thanksgiving plans for weeks. Annual leave has been booked for the Thursday and Friday and many have arranged time for family to be together, to open homes to strangers and to give thanks for all that they have.
