Increased risk of fraud and cyber crime

The Government has once again warned that fraudsters are exploiting the spread of COVID-19 in order to carry out fraud and cyber crime.

Police have reported an increase in COVID-19–related scams. They state that all charities, but especially those providing services and supporting local communities during the COVID-19 crisis, could be targeted by fraudsters.
