Alexandra Khan

Alexandra is a digital marketing executive for Stewardship. Originally trained in music, she went on to spend a few years in the videogames industry before making the leap to the NFP sector. Follow her on Twitter: @alxkhn

Barrie Thompson

Barrie Thompson has been with Stewardship for 9 years, having previously worked in banking and also in church ministry.  With Stewardship, his main areas of focus are individual recipients and general compliance.  He enjoys reading and playing golf.

Bethan Walker

Bethan is a marketing and communications executive at Stewardship. Bethan has worked in marketing for seven years and now enjoys working in the not-for-profit sector having previously worked in Professional Services. 

Daniel Jones

Daniel is Stewardship’s Chief Generosity Officer and is passionate about finding new and innovative ways to encourage and inspire Christians in their giving, and helping those who receive to do so with excellence. Fiona Mearns

Fiona Mearns is the Resourcing Christian Workers Coordinator at Stewardship and part of a team committed to helping individuals build and maintain strong, sustainable support networks.  She loves to write whenever there’s an opportunity and is a fan of a well-used apostrophe.

Kevin Russell

Our Legal Eagle guru and Stewardship's Technical Director, Kevin constantly has his finger on the pulse of all things tax and charity law-related. His briefing papers for charities, churches and individuals are an invaluable resource on everything from VAT to Gift Aid. 

Stephen Mathews
Stephen is a Senior Consultant at Stewardship and has spent over 25 years in the accountancy profession. Stephen is a trustee for a number of small Christian charities and has been involved in various church leadership roles for over 20 years.
Debbie Wright

Debbie Wright is Stewardship’s Head of Content and is passionate about generosity in all its guises. Besides occasional blogging and tweeting she creates resources and campaigns such as 40acts and Advent Wonder to inspire, engage and motivate the wider Christian community. Prior to joining, Debbie worked for A Rocha UK as editor of their national magazine and in a previous life worked as a TV producer/director for the BBC for 17 years.  Debbie is married to Graham; they have 4 daughters and a springer spaniel.  When not acting as taxi driver, she can be found on a salsa dance floor. Catherine Durant

Catherine works in Content (which means mainly writing and editing) for Stewardship. She is happiest when making new friends or catching up with old ones, loves art in all its forms and anything French, especially cheese.

Likes writing, thinking, laughing, dancing, dreaming and sleeping.

Ruth Smith

Originally from Northern Ireland, Ruth studied History at Cambridge, worked full-time at a North London church for three years, then completed her accountancy training with BDO (where her audit clients included national museums and faith-based charities), before joining the Accounts Examination team at Stewardship. Ruth is now Head of Accounting Services and is married to Mark, a curate.

Jackie Fletcher

Jackie is the Treasurer Services Lead at Stewardship. Having worked in the Payroll Bureau since September 2016, she now co-ordinates our Payroll Bureau, Charity Formation and Consultancy Helpline teams. Prior to this, she was a primary school teacher and has also been involved in charity finance and administration for over nineteen years. She is passionate about supporting Christian charities, enabling them to focus on mission and ministry, and in her spare time she volunteers for a charity that works with the homeless. She is a fan of family, friends and food.

Caroline Burns

Caroline works in the Giving Services Team at Stewardship, focusing on Full-Time Christian Workers. She previously spent five years working in Community Development with Food for the Hungry in Bolivia, followed by four years as World Mission Pastor at St Barnabas Church in North London.

Rachel Steeden

Rachel is our in-house legal advisor, working with the Philanthropy Services team to serve Christians making large charitable gifts.

Andrew Cusdin

Andrew Cusdin is Stewardship’s Compliance, Assurance & Risk Manager.

He loves embedding and refreshing policies within Stewardship and brings them to life by educating and supporting the team.

Currently his favourite motto is: “In God I Trust; everybody else, I audit!” He loves swimming and walking, and ice-cream is his Achilles’ heel.

Jo Arkell

Jo works in the Individual Recipient Team at Stewardship. She lives in East London with her husband Dave, four sons and their dog. She likes running, swimming, tap dancing and sitting down.

Rosanna Jeffery

Rosanna works for Stewardship as their Marketing Executive. She lives in East London and in her spare time enjoys art, reading, films, music, food, cycling, travelling, and learning languages. 

Philip McMillan

Philip is Stewardship’s Partnership Manager in Northern Ireland. Married to Deborah with three adult children, he has been involved in mission and support of the faith based voluntary sector for many years. He has a passion for Business as Mission and loves nothing more than a good chat over a coffee.

Ruth Leigh

Ruth is a freelance writer and speaker, based in beautiful Suffolk. She is married with three children and a variety of other livestock. She has two novels in the editing stage, writes for a number of Christian charities and writes blogs for small Suffolk businesses. She is a recovering over-achiever who is now able to do the school run in her onesie most days. She contributes to the Association of Christian Writers’ blog, More Than Writers, and also blogs at Big Words and Made Up Stories, covering topics as diverse as King Zog of Albania, a Christingle plagued by punch-ups and tummy upsets, and the inevitable decline of elderly parents. She has abnormally narrow sinuses and a morbid fear of raw tomatoes, but has decided not to let this get in the way of a meaningful life.
