Senior Systems Engineer

£41- 47,000 p.a. depending on experience + generous benefits

We are now recruiting for a Senior Systems Engineer, based at our offices in the City. This is an opportunity to work amongst a small but growing team, gaining exposure to a variety of systems and play a significant part in driving forward our mission.

You will be working in a fast paced and busy environment, providing a wide range of IT support ensuring the high availability and continued advancement of systems for Stewardship customers and staff.

Stewardship’s IT environment reflects this breadth and complexity of the services it provides. Using the latest technologies, the Stewardship IT team strive to provide secure, fast and reliable services to both internal and external customers. Working with others from across the business, we are determined to deliver innovative solutions to deliver our mission of transforming generosity.

At a time of big vision and rapid growth, IT continues to play an essential role in the future of Stewardship and we have identified a number of new and exciting projects along the journey to delivering our strategy.

Your role will consist of project work, being a key project team member, or lead, for new and infrastructure upgrade projects. You will also provide 2nd line support for escalated end user support issues. You will also have responsibility for maintaining existing systems and infrastructure.

Business Systems Analyst      

up to £32,000 depending on experience                           

Do you consider yourself the Sherlock Holmes of systems development? Are you a proactive problem solver who can see the details as well as the bigger picture? Do you enjoy methodical tasks while simultaneously going the extra mile for your team with new projects?

We are looking for a self-starter who is experienced in writing software specifications, data structure and testing and has UX knowledge of business systems. Just like Sherlock, no detail goes unnoticed when it comes to your analytical skills.

You will be joining a supportive and close-knit team during an exciting time of change and growth with the opportunity to help further God’s Kingdom.

Accounts Examiner                                            

£35k-45k p.a. + generous benefits

Do you have a formal qualification in accounting, experience in the field and are passionate about helping churches and Christian charities through advice and guidance? 

The role will include undertaking the preparation of annual accounts, and the independent examination of those accounts, in accordance with relevant accounting, statutory and Charity Commission requirements. 

Familiarity with the current version of the Charities SORP and experience with undertaking independent examinations would benefit you in this role, as would some knowledge of PAYE, VAT and charity tax. You will work alongside a team of examiners and consultants.
