Lew has operated for over 35 years an international legal practice based in London, UK. In the 1990’s he specialised in international corporate finance, acquisitions and cross border inward investment projects and developed considerable experience in emerging markets such as Russia and China. In 1998 he left the City to established the UK’s first virtual (digital/officeless) legal practice providing director services and board level consulting on legal and business issues and risk management for primarily financial services, software and biotech companies based or operating in Europe, USA and AsiaPac.
Throughout his professional career, Lew has provided pro bono legal services to many churches, charities and organisations in the not for profit sector. He has extensive experience working with NFPs and charities in many countries around the world. He often serves as a Trustee/Director and adviser to charities with global activities and has advised on the global restructuring of several such NFPs. He currently acts as General Counsel for The A21 Campaign, a global anti human trafficking NFP working in 18 countries and serves as Chair of Trustees for Kings Cross Baptist Church where he and his wife Amanda worship.
Lew is active in his church’s life and leadership, preaching and playing electric guitar with the worship band. He also actively supports his wife in her international work in developing women and co-working in church leadership in countries where the church is actively persecuted and access to the Gospel is restricted.
