Jonathan has joined us in the newly created role of Office & Facilities Manager. He is warm, friendly and welcoming – just what is required as the face of Stewardship for those visiting our offices.
He has vast experience in Christian Ministry in various capacities, i.e. youth pastor, church pastor, lecturer, conferencing programme director, residential community life, etc. His ministry was mostly in South Africa, but he and his wife, Alison, moved to the UK 10 years ago for what was essentially going to be a 5-year pre-retirement adventure! They live in Weybridge, Surrey and recently became grandparents to a beautiful baby girl. Fortunately for them, her parents also live in Weybridge. They are also parents to another daughter who lives in London.
Jonathan is what is commonly referred to as a "petrolhead" – someone who has petrol running through their veins. He has been a motorsport fanatic all his life, to the point of participating in motor racing in South Africa.
His passion is to build relationships with others and to equip them to be released into their God-given potential, something that can take place within the local church or even over a meal or coffee. It is important to respect the other and to recognise the value of each and every person created in the image of God.
