Over two decades ago, Grant stepped into the world of Stewardship, leaving behind an IT consulting career working with major multinationals. He currently heads up Enterprise Applications and Architecture, ensuring that Stewardship has the right business applications, orchestrated to deliver maximum Kingdom impact. It’s not just tech that Grant has in view, though. He knows that the secret sauce is getting people to spark – individually and together. When you have the right technology, and you add that people spark, mission is fulfilled, and vision is realised.
Student ministry has always stirred Grant’s soul, and he gives to it in various ways. He also serves in leadership at his local church in Cape Town. He has the privilege of preaching on occasion, but discerning churches know to keep him well away from the microphone when the music starts.
Downtime will lead Grant to an art gallery, a kitchen, a rugby stadium (on a seat, not the field), or the surf. He loves the world of ideas, especially insights into how the world works and what makes people tick. As a side hustle, Grant runs a taxi service with his wife. Their teenage children are their only two customers, but they keep Grant and Colette very busy.
