Curt Hopkins is a co-founder and CEO of X Machina Sustainable Technologies, a clean tech business, and Partner at X Machina Capital, a private energy investment fund.
He was the chairman of Sirenum, a SaaS business in workforce management recently ranked by the Financial Times as the 10th fastest growing tech company in the UK. Bullhorn acquired Sirenum in July 2021. Curt has a significant interest in sustainable tech as a board director at World Wide Generation, mapping, monitoring, and reporting software to accelerate Sustainable Development Goals delivery. Further, he is a founding board director at Epic Impact, a platform to promote sustainable consumption through rewards and personal impact tracking.
Previously, Curt led the buyout of Redeem, a Sunday Times Fast Track 100 firm in the circular economy, where he was CEO. Prior positions include senior executive roles at Vodafone, Nortel and Fujitsu.
Curt, originally from Chicago, graduated from Georgia Tech with a MSc in Management and a BA from Moody Bible Institute; he has lived in England since 2000. He and his wife, Janice, have two adult children and, as a family, were instrumental in starting the Windsor Fellowship Church. He also is a Work Forum Associate Speaker at LICC.
The local church is a key cause Curt and Janice support as well as work with refugees in the UK. They have a heart for missions in the Near East and Central Asia.
