Ajay qualified as an accountant in 1999 and joined the Accounts Examination Team in 2018. He acts as an independent examiner for a large number of Christian charities (mostly churches from across all denominations) and helps many of them prepare their end of year accounts. In his role he seeks to advise charities on best practice.
Before joining Stewardship Ajay worked for a firm of Chartered Accountants in Hertfordshire where he spent a significant proportion of his time both advising and auditing companies and charities.
Ajay has three children and lives and worships in Hatfield. He is involved with children’s ministry in his church and is passionate about young people experiencing the love of God.
Ajay supports organisations that combine sharing the good news with social action. Charities that teach English to ethnic minority groups and others that use business as a tool for spreading the Gospel. He also supports organisations working overseas to relieve poverty, particularly amongst young people.
