As can be seen from our website the work of Stewardship (previously UKET and East of England Evangelization Trust) has changed dramatically from its original sole purpose of holding Brethren church properties. The trustees of Stewardship at a Full Council meeting in June 2010 therefore made the historic decision to separate the property and trusteeship services to a new charity that would be focussed on this property-related ministry.  It is called Church Growth Trust Limited.  It is a registered charitable company, under its own governance rather than that of Stewardship and has Trust Corporation status, so that it can hold trusteeships of properties.

property advice and management

We are able to introduce you to property consultants with extensive experience of property management and charity law to advise and negotiate on behalf of churches and Christian charities on buying, selling and leasing property.  They are also able to advise on planning issues, building projects, boundary disputes and land registration.

survey audit and valuations

We are also able to introduce you to property consultants who are able to provide access audits to help meet the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act (now replaced by the Equality Act 2010, condition surveys to assess works required to properties, asbestos surveys under the Control of Asbestos at Work Regulations 2002/2006 and insurance valuations.
