christian workers' projects

We have a real heart for Christian workers engaged in ministry, who are among the current and future leaders of charities and ministries worldwide. Our partnership encourages generous givers and responsible recipients to help change how money works for people, communities and charities.

The projects undertaken by Christian workers therefore have to satisfy the eligibility criteria for our programme. This involves an assessment of the nature of the project being undertaken and details of individual worker’s personal income.

For our part, we promote generous support and good practice with givers and recipients. We provide support, training, encouragement and practical tools that will not only boost support for the ministry, but will help produce good stewardship both in the work and in the worker.

Take a look at some of our resources specifically for Christian workers here.

A ‘recipient account’ is provided to manage the financial aspect of support as part of our overall support package. The package also includes training on financial aspects of ministry and tools to help with the practical needs, including help for the worker to recruit supporters to Stewardship for the project, who are then equipped with a giving account.

Givers can use their account to support any charitable purpose we have approved, including many ministries of Christian workers. We make Gift Aid claims on the gifts we receive from supporters (worth 25%).

The result is a great partnership that transforms the lives of those who give, those who receive the funds and the ultimate beneficiaries of their ministries.
