Stewardship is building a community of generosity, working with Christian causes and generous givers to promote good stewardship, the responsible management of funds and help in the support-raising process.

We have a particular interest in Christian workers, who are among the current and future leaders of charities and ministries worldwide. Our partnership encourages generous givers and responsible recipients to help change how money works for people, communities and charities.

Christian workers therefore have to satisfy the eligibility criteria for our programme. This involves an assessment of income and the nature of the work being undertaken.

For our part, we promote generous support and good practice with givers and recipients. We provide support, training, encouragement and practical tools that will not only boost support for the individual, but will help produce good stewardship in their ministry.

An account is provided to manage the financial support, along with personalised forms which help the worker to recruit supporters to Stewardship and who are equipped with a giving account.

These supporters can use their giving account to give to any charitable purpose we have approved, including many Christian workers. We make Gift Aid claims on the gifts we receive from supporters (worth about 25%).

The result is a great partnership that transforms the lives of those who give, those who receive the funds and the ultimate beneficiaries of their ministries.
