Taking action:
Volunteers and Money Ministries
Money talk is not easy! People get defensive and understandably many churches fight shy of teaching money. Add to this the burden of personal debt, money worries and people's anxieties about taking control of money.
One thing is clear: the challenge, the need - and the opportunity - is enormous. If you or a team from your church want get involved or find out more about what we do - and why we do it - we'd love to talk to you!
Volunteers with faith and passion for financial freedom are a vital part of the Stewardship Money team. Stewardship Money offers two distinct but interrelated routes for those who wish to take action in their church and in their local community.
- Individuals who want to get involved and are assured of the support of their church leadership should check out the opportunities which our Volunteer Programme offers.
- A small group of people in a church (or from a group of churches) can work together to serve congregations and communities as part of our Money Ministry Network
To find out more come along to one of our information sessions entitled How Churches can Help people with Debt. Dates can be found in our Events Diary - or why not host one in your church?
When you have explored the options then chat with our full time Volunteer Manager, Tony Cunliffe who can help you decide what is best for you and your church
