The Stewardship Volunteer Network

The Bible has a great deal to say about money: 2350 verses or thereabouts. That is roughly twice as many as faith and prayer combined, though you wouldn't guess this from Sunday sermons!

How we manage money affects how we lay hold of the abundant life that Jesus promises. The burden of debt or real anxieties about money hinders faith and is a poor climate for generous giving. The challenge and the need is enormous. That is why we want to expand the Stewardship Volunteer Network, a committed team of over 220 church based volunteers working to raise awareness of:

• money as God's entrusted gift and a spiritual issue
• the joy of giving generously and releasing kingdom resources
• the importance of money management for financial freedom
• the release of those captive to debt and money anxiety
• the resources and services Stewardship is able to offer.
