15 January 2010
The recession has hit charitable giving with 67% of charities reporting income down says the nfpSynergy State of the Sector survey.
A recent survey by Investec Private Bank suggests a 10% fall in charitable giving, around £574million, in 2009, echoing the 11% estimate in the CAF/NCVO survey last autumn.
