Churches need money for effective ministry and our heart is to see the church abundantly resourced by the generosity of God's people. But generosity not only meets needs, it is our response to the grace of God and a formative part of the spiritual life and discipleship.

The training will help ministers and members of leadership teams to explore:

• the biblical imperative to generosity
• the pressures which inhibit gving
• the elements of the 'donor process'
• guidance on preaching and teaching about giving
• key elements in planning a giving initiative in the local church

Growing generous givers is a flexible training session from Stewardship, ranging from a two hour seminar to an interactive day long session. It is suitable for clergy, lay leaders and all with a passion for building the church into a generous community.
