Each 90 minute module has an Alpha course structure: input by the course leader followed by discussion and practical exercises by course members. PowerPoint files, speaker notes and resources for group exercises are provided.

Sunday preaching or the workshop Managing Money God's Way can be used to explore a biblical perspective on money as preparation for running this practical course.

• Session 1: Taking Control
  Introduces the importance of money management and good budgeting and takses some first steps to prepare a realistic budget.  This can be run as a "taster" to establish interest from the church/local community.
• Session 2: Living in Control
  Looks at creating, reviewing and balancing a budget, ways of increasing income and reducing expenditure; the advantages and disadvantages of borrowing money. 
• Session 3: Staying in Control
  Looks at the simple, practical MoneyBox system for making a budget work and some closing tips on getting out of the red and staying in the black. 

The course aims to provide a non-threatening setting for people to start to talk about money and to share experiences and ideas with each other.
