Red2Black: taking it further

Red2Black will raise awareness of debt and how churches can take practical action. A Red2Black Sunday and signposting to local debt advice may be all that is appropriate but one or more individuals may wish to engage more deeply with this issue. 

There is scope for both committed individuals and for small teams of volunteers in the local church to take action. Individuals may serve as money advocates in their churches while small teams may form a money ministry as an identifiable ministry of the local church. Some churches may wish to establish a specialist debt advice centre as a core ministry.

Red2Black resources address debt specifically but Christian money education embraces a biblical and holistic perspective on money and generous giving as the hallmark of authentic financial discipleship.
