A Red2Black Sunday focusing on raising awareness of the debt issue can be supplemented with an evening event for the church and the wider community. 

How can the church help people in Debt  (HCCHPD)

An introduction to the debt problem, its impact on people’s lives  and how churches can take action. Excellent for stimulating discussion and a forum for possible action by the church. Consider inviting community workers, SureStart teams, the caring professions etc to build relationships.

A powerpoint presentation with accompanying handout leaflet and speaker notes. The focus is the importance of good money management to get out of the red and stay in the black. Suitable for inviting the wider community. For a church meeting additional biblically based resources can be added.
