Local Speaker

The aim of this role of Local Speaker is to inform and educate local people on money education issues.

A Local Speaker delivers talks and/or courses on Stewardship Money's behalf in their local church and, where the church has this ministry, within the local community. Not everyone is comfortable with up front speaking, presenting or even preaching! But for those who wish to the Local Speaker role offers opportunities to promote money education and support the work of Stewardship across the country.

We can never hope to meet each and every speaking request so this role is invaluable. You may be preaching in your own church or elesewhere or giving a short talk in a Sunday Service. Opportunities for speaking range from a small group in your local church to a town wide leaders meeting or representing the church's ministry to local community leaders.

There are opportunities to run small group money education courses in the congregation or as part of outreach to the local community. We can make available sample presentations, talks and sermons which Local Speakers can adapt and improve in their own situation.
