Specialist Debt Adviser

The aim of this role of Specialist Debt Adviser is to enable Stewardship Money to be able to recommend a debt counsellor who is a Christian.

A number of volunteers are trained as specialist debt advisors and linked to a local debt advice agency. Occasionally we are asked if we can recommend a debt adviser who is a Christian. These requests may come from the Consumer Credit Counselling Service, via email, via our web site or direct to our office, or from major events like New Wine or Christian Resources Exhibitions.

To take on this role you must have been providing specialist debt advice for the last 2 years.

Applicants will be asked to fill in a supplementary application form to confirm that they have been providing debt advice during the last two years and have a current consumer credit licence and professional indemnity insurance.
