Money Ministry Leader

The aim of this role is to recruit, train, develop and retain a team of volunteers to provide a Money Ministry Service

A local church Money Ministry is a service provided by a church or group churches to “clients” (members and community) to help them stay in control of money. The tasks of a Money Ministry Leader is likely to include:

  • teaching better ways to manage money
  • promotion of biblical principles around money and possessions
  • listening to “client” concerns
  • guidance in relation to debt crisis and signposting to specialist debt advice agencies
  • assistance in the preparation of a personal or family budget 6. help in making informed financial decisions
  • signposting to other advice agencies where needed
  • encouraging a “client” to take responsibility for their situation
  • mentoring until a “client” is in control of money
  • prayer for a “client” and with a client if appropriate
