A Stewardship workshop:
Money: How are we Managing?

Money: How are we Managing? is a tried and tested training course for church members to think through good practice in money management. It is practical, biblical and enjoyable including presentations, stories, group discussions and practical exercises.

The course is made up of three separate sections and if a trainer is available could be run over three evening sessions.

  • The Money Problem: a summary of the issues that cause money problems, the effect they have on people's lives and a biblical introduction.

  • How to Budget: this practical module takes course members through a simple 10 step process to develop a realistic personal or family budget. We take a good look at the household budget of the Spender family and see if we recognise some of their mistakes!

  • Would you credit it?: this module helps understand the different types of credit that are available and how to make wise and informed choices around using credit.

Discussion groups are an important part of the course. In them people can talk, and laugh, about money as together we learn to put money in its place.
